The Second European Round Table under the title FUTURE SKILLS & AI IN EUROPE was organized on 20 July 2022 in Malta. The event was organized and hosted by: The Malta Chamber and The Malta Business Bureau in collaboration with the General Workers Union. More than 60 participants took part in the Round Table, representatives from the social partners and national authorities in Malta, project partners from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Ireland, Romania and Sweden. Esther Lynch – Deputy General Secretary, ETUC and Maxime Cerutti, Director, Social Affairs Department BusinessEurope addressed the participants and presented the European Social dialogue and the progress of the implementation of the Autonomous European Framework Agreements, in particular the FA on Digitalisation from the perspective of ETUC and Business Europe. There were two major panels: Forecasting Future Skills & Human Capital Expertise, moderated by: Joe Tanti, CEO Malta Business Bureau and Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the workplace, moderated by: Diana Miceli, Projects Manager, The Malta Chamber. All the panelists and participants contributed with valuable input to the discussions in the two panels and enriched the outcomes and research activities in the framework of the TransFormWork Project.
