The Malta Business Bureau represents the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA) in Brussels and Malta. It does so by liaising directly with the European institutions, the Maltese Permanent Representation and with umbrella organisations such as BusinessEurope, Eurochambers and Hotrec on all policy and funding issues affecting Maltese business interests.

The MBB’s Head Office is located at the prestigious Exchange Buildings in Valletta Malta, and it also has a representation office in the heart of Brussels.

One of the main tasks of the organisation is to create awareness with the Maltese business community regarding EU policy and legislation, while also keep them updated on opportunities related to EU funding for business. The MBB itself has vast experience in implementing EU funding projects with the aim of bridging together the EU vision and the interests of the Maltese business community. In addition, the MBB supports businesses through its partnership within the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).

In Brussels, the MBB plays a key role by conducting advocacy work with European legislators as part of the EU’s legislative process and strengthens the organisation’s ties with its pan-European networks and European partners.
